Terms of Use for TREVOO

Welcome to TREVOO, a social networking and content-sharing platform. By accessing or using TREVOO, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, discontinue using TREVOO immediately.

1. License Grant and Ownership

TREVOO is licensed, not sold.

TREVOO grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the TREVOO app on your personal devices for lawful personal or commercial use under these Terms.

All rights not expressly granted remain with TREVOO.

You may not:

  • Copy, distribute, or modify any part of TREVOO
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Create derivative works
  • Circumvent security features

Except where such activities are permitted by applicable law.

2. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any law or regulation
  • Upload or share illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or violent content
  • Share sexually explicit content involving minors (immediate ban + reporting to authorities)
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload TREVOO systems
  • Use bots, scrapers, automation tools, or fake accounts without authorization
  • Engage in spam, scams, fraud, or misleading behavior

TREVOO may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

3. Accounts

Some features require a TREVOO account.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity on your account

If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support@trevoo.app immediately.

TREVOO is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your device or credentials.

4. User-Generated Content (UGC)

You retain ownership of all content you post.

By uploading or posting content on TREVOO, you grant TREVOO a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, display, distribute, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works of your content only as needed to operate, promote, or improve the platform.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions to post the content you upload.

TREVOO may remove or restrict access to content that:

  • Violates these Terms
  • Violates applicable law
  • Contains harmful or dangerous material
  • Infringes others' rights

Age-Restricted or Sensitive Content:

TREVOO may restrict access to mature or age-limited content to users above a certain age (17+), based on declared age or platform requirements. Posting inappropriate content without using the proper age-restriction flags may lead to account action.

5. Intellectual Property

TREVOO and its licensors own all intellectual-property rights in the app, including:

  • Software and code
  • Logos and trademarks
  • Graphics, text, and interface design

You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on TREVOO without written permission.

6. In-App Purchases

TREVOO offers the following in-app purchases:

One-Time Purchases:

Instant Verification Badge - Get the official purple verified badge on your profile instantly after purchase. This is a permanent, one-time purchase with no subscription or renewal.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions:

Premium AI Chat Access - Unlimited AI chat features with enhanced capabilities and auto-renewal

One-Time Purchase Details:

  • One-time purchases are permanent and do not expire
  • No subscription fees or recurring charges
  • Once verified, your badge remains on your profile unless your account is terminated for violations

Subscription Details:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • The renewal cost will be clearly identified before purchase
  • iOS: Subscriptions can be managed, and auto-renewal can be turned off in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase
  • Android: Subscriptions can be managed in the Google Play Store
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Free Trials (if applicable):

If a subscription offers a free trial, the full subscription price will be charged after the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial expires.

Pricing:

Current pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change.

Cancellation (Subscriptions Only):

For iOS:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iOS device
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select TREVOO
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

For Android:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top right
  3. Tap "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions"
  4. Select TREVOO
  5. Tap "Cancel subscription"

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until the subscription expires.

Refunds:

For iOS:

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund:

For Android:

All purchases are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google's refund policy. To request a refund:

TREVOO cannot process refunds directly. All refund requests must go through Apple or Google.

Family Sharing:

Purchases are not eligible for Family Sharing at this time.

End User License Agreement (EULA):

7. Third-Party Services

TREVOO integrates third-party technologies such as:

  • Live video/audio (Agora)
  • Cloud storage & authentication (Firebase)
  • Analytics & crash reporting (Firebase Analytics)
  • Advertising SDKs (Google AdMob)
  • Subscription management (RevenueCat)
  • AI services for optional chat features (OpenAI)
  • Android only: Google Play Services (authentication, notifications, app updates)

These services may have their own separate terms and privacy policies. TREVOO is not responsible for third-party outages, data handling, or service failures.

8. Data Collection & Privacy

TREVOO collects technical and usage information to operate and improve the app. All data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, available in-app and at trevoo.app/privacy-policy.

TREVOO does not sell personal information.

9. Disclaimers

TREVOO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TREVOO disclaims all express or implied warranties, including:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement
  • Accuracy or reliability

You assume all risks associated with using the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

TREVOO, its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits or data
  • Business interruption
  • Losses caused by third-party services

In all cases, TREVOO's total liability shall not exceed fifty U.S. dollars ($50), even if a remedy fails for its essential purpose.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TREVOO, its affiliates, and staff from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the app
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any law
  • Your infringement of the rights of others

12. Termination

TREVOO may suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Fraud, abuse, harassment
  • Illegal or harmful activity

Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you automatically end. Active subscriptions will continue until the end of the paid period but will not renew.

13. Export & Legal Compliance

You may not use or export TREVOO except in compliance with applicable U.S. export laws and local regulations.

By using TREVOO, you confirm you are not:

  • Located in a U.S.-embargoed country
  • On any U.S. government restricted-party list

14. Governing Law & Disputes

If you reside in:

  • EU/EEA/UK/Switzerland/Norway/Iceland: Your country's laws apply, and disputes may be brought in your local courts.

All other users worldwide: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

15. Updates to Terms

TREVOO may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available in the app and on our website.

Continued use of TREVOO after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use TREVOO. Certain features require users to be 17 or older:

  • Age-restricted/mature content (when enabled by content creators)
  • Audio Spaces (live audio rooms)
  • Advanced content creation features marked as mature

Our moderation team actively monitors the platform to enforce community standards and maintain user safety.
